לְכוּ בָנִים, שִׁמְעוּ לִי יִרְאַת הַ' אֲלַמֶּדְכֶם.

מִי הָאִישׁ הֶחָפֵץ חַיִּים אֹהֵב יָמִים לִרְאוֹת טוֹב. נְצֹר לְשׁוֹנְךָ מֵרָע וּשְׂפָתֶיךָ מִדַּבֵּר מִרְמָה. סוּר מֵרָע, וַעֲשֵׂה-טוֹב;
בַּקֵּשׁ שָׁלוֹם וְרָדְפֵהוּ.

Translation:

Come, children, listen to me, I am going to teach you how to respect God.
Who is the man that desireth life, and loveth days, that he may see good therein?
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
